Transform Your Body with Structural Integration Rolfing

If you can imagine how it feels to have a fluid, light, balanced body, free of pain, stiffness and chronic stress, at ease with itself and the earth’s gravitational field, then you will understand the goals of Structural Integration. -Ida P Rolf PhD

What is Structural Integration or Rolfing?

Structural Integration, commonly known as “Rolfing,” aligns and balances the body by lengthening and repositioning the fascia. As the fascia is lengthened, muscles are free to move more efficiently. I apply targeted pressure to work systematically through the entire fascial network, releasing restrictions so the body can return to its optimal, structurally aligned state.

Why Alignment Matters

Everyday activities, gravity’s unceasing pull, and physical injuries can all lead to misalignment. Over time, the fascia shortens and tightens, causing stiffness, discomfort, and a loss of energy. When your body is realigned, everything from your posture to your breathing improves—making you feel lighter, more efficient, and balanced.

The Rolfing Process

Typically, Rolfing Structural Integration is carried out through a ten-session series. Each session builds on the previous one, addressing different areas of your body. As we progress, your fascia relaxes and lengthens, resulting in a new, revitalized line of energy by the final session.
